Our bump steer kit is for the type of person that desires maximum
performance from their vehicle. This kit allows you to position the
tie rod end above or below the steering arm to minimize bump steer.
The kit comes with a variety of spacers to allow you to tailor it to your
application. The spacers are not necessary on a Mk3.
Drilling the tie rod tapered attachment hole to 5/8" is necessary for
installation. We include everything shown in the picture along with
instructions.
Applications:
-All Mustang based FFR kits.
Technical Notes:
The Bump steer kit is designed to be adjusted the same way as a regular Tie
Rod End. To adjust the Toe-in of the car, only loosen the inside jam nut and
TURN THE INNER TIE ROD. The inner tie rod is a ball pivot and is
designed for this. Note, you may need to loosen the outer boot clamp so that
the boot does not twist. |
