These real carbon fiber rock guards (also known as spats) are manufactured
in house by our superb composites staff. They hand lay and trim the
carbon fiber for these pieces resulting in a part that is beautiful, strong,
and very functional. These pieces are designed to cover the leading
edge of each rear fender flare to prevent them from being chipped by rocks.
Not only do they provide a high level of function, but they also look
awesome doing while protecting your paint. The kit includes
instructions and double sided 3M tape for a fastener free mounting system.
Make sure to check out all of our other carbon fiber parts to compliment
this. If you are leaving these bare, they may require wet sanding and
clear coating for a 100 point show finish and we recommend a clear coating
for UV protection. |
