Installation Notes:
Oil pan is
production style pan. Pan contains no baffling. Change to a high
performance pan (increased capacity and baffling) that fits your
application if necessary. Photo and specs may vary.
Some or all of
the following items may need to be changed from your original engine or
modified for proper installation:
Billet
distributor with Dura Spark style hook-up.
EFI
distributors may need modification to work with HD oil pump driveshaft.
This engine is
built for a V-belt accessory drive.
The damper
assembly will require pulley spacer with 4-bolt pulley applications.
Firing order is
1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.
The flywheel
should work for most 157-tooth manual transmission applications.
