This license plate light incorporates the license plated mounting bracket, and meets DOT photometric requirements. The light has a mounting gasket that is hidden resulting in a better look.  The lens has DOT approval markings, and the wiring is soldered to prevent the wiring from loosening that is common to these type of lights.
