chassis. Designed with modern CAD/CAM equipment by engineers with a
vintage look and modern design. Our chassis sets the standard in the industry.
The chassis is built using CNC laser cut parts and hand welded by
certified welders in a computer designed and laser cut jig. The chassis is strong, safe, and
rigid. The chassis comes standard in bare steel, but can be ordered in
gloss black powder coat if desired.
This frame is based off of a simple ladder chassis like the vintage cars,
but we modified it with a space frame super-structure and backbone to
increase tensional rigidity and strength. Every part on the frame is
installed in a jig to insure accuracy.
The Mk3 frame can accommodate
all Ford V8 engines. Mustang suspension from 1987-2004 can be used
front and rear, and can be upgraded to our optional 3-link and
independent
rear suspension. |
